The HOBO H8 Outdoor/Industrial Data Logger

This instrument has four channels which allow continuous monitoring of air and 3 soil horizon temperatures.  The air probe is elevated approximately four feet to keep the air sensor above snowpack.  Occasionally these instruments act as bear toys as seen by the holes in the instrument below.
