Denise Knowles

Denise grew up dancing at Morita’s School of Dance in Hermon, Maine, beginning at the age of 3. While there she competed in many regional, national and international competitions. She has been teaching at Morita’s School of Dance since 2000, and became the studio’s Assistant Director in 2011.

From 2003-2004, Denise studied at the California Pacific College of Performing Arts, and performed with the performing arts group The Young Americans. She returned to Maine in 2004 and began studying at the University of Maine, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2007. While at the University she was a member of the dance team from 2004-2007, and has been an assistant instructor for the team since 2009. While not working with the dance team, Denise works for Premium Choice Broadband in Brewer, Maine, and at Morita’s School of Dance in Hermon and Milo, Maine.
