James Campbell 50th PhD Graduate
With successful defense of his PhD dissertation on April 7th, James Campbell becomes the 50th PhD granted from the University of Maine by the spatial informatics faculty. Pursuing a law and policy line of inquiry, his research program addressed “Toward a Commons of Geographic Data.” Members of his committee included Professor Harlan Onsrud, major advisor, and professors Elizabeth Allan, Kate Beard, Max Egenhofer, and Torsten Hahmann.
