Adam received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics (2006) from Michigan Technological University. He has been a member of the Physics Education Research Laboratory since Fall 2007.
He has been involved in research and development of the Intermediate Mechanics Tutorials. His teaching experience includes laboratory and recitation/tutorial instruction in introductory physics, co-facilitating Physics By Inquiry, and lead instruction for Descriptive Physics (PHY 105, a laboratory course for non-science majors) using the Intuitive Quantum Physics curriculum.
Adam’s current research includes personal epistemologies and expectations evident in classroom activities, and the influence that curriculum has on epistemologies in practice.
