UMaine Crop Research Could Benefit from Federal Grants, AP Reports

The Associated Press reported the state’s Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry will receive $600,000 to support research on specialty crops such as blueberries and potatoes. The agency is accepting proposals for the grant money to be used on agricultural research.
