UMaine Extension’s Garland Interviewed about ‘Kids Can Grow’

University of Maine Cooperative Extension horticulturist Kate Garland was interviewed for a Channel 5 (WABI) report on the Kids Can Grow program in Bangor, organized by UMaine Extension and the Bangor Housing Authority to spark children’s interest in backyard gardening. Garland said participating children had a chance to learn about gardening, responsibility and taking pride in their work.
