The Lewiston Sun Journal has a story about the Maine Public Broadcasting Network series “Sustainable Maine,” which will feature scientists from UMaine and other educational institutions around the state as they work together with fishermen and loggers. The series will show how the group seeks to balance economic growth with environmental sensitivity and local traditions of land and water use in Maine.
