Keegan Tripp
Keegan Tripp is entering his third year at the University of Maine, majoring in Political Science with double minors in Leadership and Legal Studies. Originally from Winn, Maine, Keegan began his student government journey here as a Senator in the General Student Senate (GSS), quickly establishing himself as a dedicated student leader.
In his role as President of Student Government, Keegan oversees the organization’s operations and initiatives, works closely with the Vice President to steer the ship, and acts as a prominent advocate for the student body with university administrators and other campus entities. Building on a highly productive year as Vice President, where he focused on strengthening relations with the administration, Keegan is now committed to deepening the connection between UMSG and the student body. Passionate about engaging with his fellow black bears, Keegan invites everyone to visit him during his office hours for a chat.
Beyond his academic and leadership responsibilities, he is also an active member of the Tap and Hip Hop clubs and contributes to various other student organizations on campus. Separate from the University, he enjoys spending time with friends, listening to music, and exploring the beauty of Maine.
