Haley Albano, Workshop Presenter
Haley Albano is a Ph.D. student and doctoral fellow focused in the ecological dimensions of nutritional anthropology, where she is situated in the interplay between environmental nutrition and cultural relationships with food. Her research examines the complexity of nutritional risk in Northern Maine and the Canadian borderlands, specifically focusing on the ecologies of metabolic stress. She comes into the program with a BA in Anthropology from Bridgewater State University, and an MS in Ethics and Public Policy from Suffolk University in Boston. She is broadly interested in the northern landscape, discourse and praxis change, and the communication of nutritional risk.
