This workshop will provide PreK-12 teachers with hands-on experience regarding the necessary knowledge and effective strategies of the equity literacy framework to effectively promote diversity in their teaching and learning environments. The workshop provides participants with an interactive discussion based on different classroom simulations covering topics such as poverty and socioeconomic status, linguistic background, race, religion, ethnicity, culture, and more.
