Building and Maintaining Healthy Home-School Connections

This workshop will be an interactive session on working through difficult situations around home-school connections. Whether it be with a family experiencing divorce and conflict, a family that won’t engage in supporting their child, or a parent/caregiver with no boundaries who continually disrupts the learning experience, this session will provide an opportunity to talk about and get consultation in troubleshooting complex interactions and cases to establish healthy home-school connections. Participants are encouraged to bring examples of challenging family partnerships from their own experiences for discussion.
