General Description
Student is responsible for performing complex tasks of an inter-personal nature in the day-to-day operation of the classroom and associated activities under little to no supervision while exercising high levels of independent judgment.
Duties (may include but not limited to)
Assists in facilitating classroom activities
Is responsible for classroom equipment and supplies
Assists in planning assignments
Assists in creating lesson plans
Records grades
Performs routine research-oriented tasks
Provides academic tutoring and counseling
Performs skilled research work in well-defined areas
Develops instructional plans
Prepares written evaluations of student’s progress and performance
Additional Requirements (may include but not limited to)
Must be dependable
Must have extensive knowledge of the subject area
Must have basic computer program knowledge
Must sign a confidentiality agreement
