Alumni News: Jane Donnell ’93

Jane Donnell ’93 is in her 21st year at Northeast Historic Film (NHF) in Bucksport, Maine.

NHF is a nonprofit archive dedicated to collecting, preserving and sharing northern New England’s moving image heritage. They operate a three-story climate controlled vault holding more than 10 million feet of film, a public study center and a 140-seat theater.  Jane currently handles donor relations, production and distribution of a line of DVDs called Videos of Life in New England as well as manages the Alamo Theatre, a marvelous first-run movie theater and Main Street  Bucksport fixture for the last 100 years.

She often reflects that she has the coolest job in the world. “It is different every day and it more than satisfies my inner history nerd!”
