Reflecting on 9-11
Dear members of the UMaine and UMaine Machias communities,
Today, 20 years after the horrors of 9-11, join us in reflecting on the thousands of people who perished and all who have suffered because of that tragedy. Thank you to so many first responders and to all those who reached out to help on that devastating day and in its aftermath.
We ask that today we commit to our principles of an inclusive community where we are united in all our actions and deeds in pushing back hatred and darkness wherever it exists and however it tries to divide us.
