Expert Testimony on Capitol Hill, March 6
University of Maine President Joan Ferrini-Mundy provided expert testimony March 6 on Capitol Hill as part of “Inclusion in Tech: How Diversity Benefits All Americans,” a hearing held by the Subcommittee on Consumer Protection and Commerce of the Committee on Energy and Commerce. Ferrini-Mundy discussed the opportunities at various levels of the educational chain to support STEM and other related skills to improve diversity and inclusion in the technology sector and others.
