Come visit us in the Folklife Area of the American Folk Festival at the Bangor Waterfront August 27th and 28th, where we will be exploring Maine’s rich fiber history from hand spinning wool, flax, and silk fibers in the 1800s, to the industrialization of Maine’s textile mills. Come explore a variety of fiber processing artifacts and learn more about Maine’s fiber history!
Admission to the American Folk Festival is free, however, there is a suggested donation of $10/person, or $20/family.
