Annie Smith, MSN, RN, PMH-BC, CNE
Bio: Annie Smith is from Hampden, Maine. She graduated from Hampden Academy in 2007 and pursued her BSN at the University of Maine where she was a member of the cheerleading team from 2007-2011. Annie began her career in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing at Northern Light Acadia Hospital in 2011 working on the acute adult inpatient unit as a staff nurse and charge nurse , also pursuing opportunities as a clinical educator and staff developer through 2021. Annie taught as a clinical adjunct for the University of Maine from 2012-2018 and as an adjunct lecturer after obtaining her MSN in 2018. Other clinical experience includes roles as a staff nurse at Dorothea Dix Psychiatric Center and Research Psychiatric Center in Kansas City, Missouri. She is currently pursuing certification through Brown University to teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
