OTM Awards
OTMs are “Of the Month” awards, given to people on university campuses as a way to recognize their hard work and efforts to better the community. These awards are recognized at the university, regional (NEACURH), and national (NACURH) levels. Recipients of these awards receive an email from their nominator with their nomination, a special door dec from the Marsh Island Chapter, and they have the possibility of receiving certificates at regional and national conferences! 
There are two types of OTMs that you could write; the first is an Individual OTM which outlines the success of an individual within a specific month. This individual could be an undergraduate or graduate student, a RA/CA, or a member of a university department. The second type of OTM is a Program OTM; this award recognizes a program or activity on campus that happens within a specific month.
Individual OTMs have a maximum word limit of 600 words and Programming OTMs have specific maximum word limits per question.

Recognition Events
Recognition Events are celebrations held to acknowledge and appreciate the people that you work with and their continuous efforts to better your group, department, and the community. These events could range from handing out goody bags to all of your staff members to having an entire month dedicated to your workers filled with fun activities for everyone to enjoy!
Our goal as a NRHH chapter is to promote the importance of appreciating the work of others and highlighting their impacts on the community. We are looking to host recognition events for our members, residents on campus, and the Residence Life Staff; but we would also like to help you host a recognition event for your group or department!
Regardless of the group or department, we want to help you recognize the people who make your work happen! We are here to help you in any way fit, whether it be staffing, hosting, or designing the event, we will help make your recognition event one that your staff will always remember!
