Warren Burns, a former UMaine speech professor, passed away on Feb. 6 in Brewer. According to an obituary in the Bangor Daily News, Burns joined the UMaine faculty in 1968 after completing a master’s in theater arts and a doctorate in speech communication from Penn State.
