Boteva discusses international student enrollment with Maine Public
In a story about the growth in international student enrollment across Maine colleges and universities, Maine Public interviewed Orlina Boteva, director of international programs at the University of Maine, about the uptick experienced at the state’s flagship university. International student enrollment at UMaine increased 25% from 2020. “A lot of people in international education considered this a response to pent up demands during the pandemic, when many students couldn’t access U.S. higher education and visa processing was very limited,” she said. The Bangor Daily News shared the report.
