Media report on $16 million donation to UMaine Athletics
Mainebiz, WABI (CBS 5 in Bangor), the Bangor Daily News and WFVX (Fox 22/ABC 7 in Bangor) reported on a $16 million donation from the estate of University of Maine alumnus Pierre Labat and his wife, Catherine, which marks the largest individual gift to UMaine Athletics. The donation will create the Pierre D. Labat and Catherine C. Labat Athletic Leadership Fund to enhance student athlete success and improve athletic facilities.
