Media highlight UMaine student who saved fishermen in shipwreck
CBS News, Fox Weather, The Boston Globe, the Portsmouth Herald, WGME (Channel 13 in Portland), WMTW (Channel 13 in Portland), WMUR (Channel 9 in Manchester, New Hampshire) and other news organizations reported on University of Maine student Wyatt Yager and his brother, Colin, rescuing two fishermen after a whale capsized their boat. “They were in shock, they were a little bit cold, they didn’t really know what to make of it,” Wyatt Yager, who was captaining the rescue boat, said to WGME. “But they were in good spirits. They were kind of laughing.”
