Mech interviewed by media on browntail moth outbreak
WFVX (Fox 22/ABC 7 in Bangor) and WGME (CBS 13 in Portland) interviewed Angela Mech, an assistant professor of forest entomology at the University of Maine, on the outbreaks of browntail moths. Mech said outbreaks are part of the moths’ natural cycle, but changes in climate have caused significant spikes. Fox 23 in Portland shared the report from WGME.
