Efforts from Black Bears Beekeepers club boosted by WFVX
WFVX (Fox 22/ABC 7) highlighted the efforts of the Black Bear Beekeepers club in getting the University of Maine named a Bee Campus USA. The designation recognizes the dedication of the club in aiding local pollinators and benefits the university’s sustainability initiative and national recognition. President of the club Kat Gross and secretary Anne Wolfenden were interviewed for the report.
