Students seeking donations, volunteers for Old Town homegoods bank
University of Maine students are seeking donations and recruiting volunteers for Welcome to Housing, a nonprofit homegoods bank in Old Town, during tabling sessions on Fridays April 12 and 19 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Memorial Union.
Snacks and information about Welcome to Housing will also be available during the tabling sessions, organized by students in the Topics in Professional Writing course as part of a multi-pronged awareness campaign for the nonprofit.
