State of the University Address scheduled for March 7
University of Maine President Joan Ferrini-Mundy will deliver the 2024 State of the University address on Thursday, March 7 from 10-11:30 a.m. in Minsky Recital Hall.
Guest speakers will include Amanda Klemmer, president of UMaine Faculty Senate and assistant professor of landscape ecology; University of Maine System Chancellor Dannel Malloy; Mariam Diallo, business and sustainable agriculture student and 2023 Innovate for Maine Fellow; Xander LaComb (Penobscot), UMaine Machias creative arts student and member of the Kinap Mentorship Program; and director of the School of Social Work Sandra Butler, the 2024 Maine Distinguished Professor.
