Media highlight museum partnership for Wabanaki basketry lexicon
Portland Press Herald and Bangor Daily News highlighted the partnership between the University of Maine’s Hudson Museum and Penobscot Nation Museum to create an online lexicon for Wabanaki basketry. The lexicon is funded by a $100,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities and will feature images and terminology related to the basketry.
