The Bismarck Tribune interviewed University of Maine Professor of Anthropology and Chair of Native American Programs Darren Ranco on road signs in New England now including Indigenous translations. “We have a moment where there is a search for some reconciliation and justice around Indigenous issues. The signs represent that, but by no means is that the end point around these issues,” said Ranco.
