Orlando Sentinel interviews Brewer for story about Florida ranked-choice voting reform proposal

Mark Brewer, professor and acting chair of the University of Maine Political Science Department, spoke with the Orlando Sentinel for a story about a University of Central Florida student spearheading a ballot proposal to implement ranked-choice voting in all general elections in Florida. “It’s still a relatively partisan issue,” Brewer said. “But the controversy level has gone way down just because we’ve now had more elections … and it seems to work without any major glitches.” The Bakersfield Californian shared the Orlando Sentinel article.
