BDN talks with Dana, students about return to in-person classes

The Bangor Daily News spoke with Robert Dana, University of Maine vice president for student life and inclusive excellence, and a number of students on campus on Monday about the return to in-person classes and UMaine’s vaccine and face covering requirements. “Having a vaccine requirement makes us a safer community,” Dana said. As of Monday, more than 90% of UMaine’s residence hall students had verified their vaccination status online; approximately 69% of students who reside off campus have uploaded their vaccine cards.
