Media report UMaine student receives Courageous Citizens award

The Bangor Daily News, WABI (Channel 5) and News Center Maine reported that Joseph Cali, a University of Maine student expected to graduate in May, received a Courageous Citizens Award from the Town of Orono for stopping a moving car with an unconscious driver and summoning medical assistance. According to Cali, anyone would have done the same thing. “There’s plenty of people out there that don’t get recognized.”
