BDN notes UMaine’s assistance in securing grant for recreation center

A news release published in the Bangor Daily News noted the University of Maine helping the Orono Economic Development Corporation secure a $120,000 grant to transform the buildings at the former Taylor Bait Farm, Orono, into a regional recreation center. Members from the UMaine community serve on the corporation’s board of directors.
