Sun Journal notes new endowed scholarship fund at UMaine Foundation
The Sun Journal noted that a new endowed scholarship fund has been established at the University of Maine Foundation. The Maine State Society of Washington, D.C. Foundation, which has managed a scholarship program that recognizes and supports Maine students attending Maine colleges and universities since 1990, has merged with the Maine State Society of Washington D.C., resulting in the new scholarship fund. Members of the foundation will manage the fund as a committee of the Maine State Society of Washington, but the UMaine Foundation will oversee the administrative responsibilities for it.
