Zillman Art Museum opens with three new exhibits

Three new exhibitions are open at the University of Maine Zillman Art Museum: “Maine Inspired: Art Luminaries at the Bicentennial,” featuring works from the ZAM collection; “Being Here: Marcie Jan Bronstein,” featuring watercolor compositions by the Maine-based artist; and “Wood Nymphs: JoAnne Carson,” featuring a selection of drawings and large-scale sculptures.

The exhibitions run through Dec. 23. More information is online.

ZAM, at 40 Harlow St. in Bangor, is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Saturday. Information about health and safety guidelines for visitors is on the museum website. Admission is free thanks to the generosity of Deighan Wealth Advisors.
