Greater Bangor area bus system seeks community input

The Community Connector, a fixed-route bus system serving the Greater Bangor urbanized area, including Orono and the University of Maine, seeks public input regarding how the system might be changed to better meet community needs.

The Bangor Area Transit Study survey is available online until Feb. 21. Opinions also can be emailed to at any time during the study.

The project will result in short- and long-range strategic plans aimed at improving operational efficiency, ultimately leading to user benefits such as enhanced bus reliability and shorter travel times.
