The Republican Journal mentions UMaine in article on Early College for spring 2019
The Republican Journal mentioned the University of Maine in a report on the University of Maine System’s Early College program offerings for spring 2019. The system partners with the Maine Department of Education to waive tuition for qualified high school students in Maine to take up to 12 college credits per year, with more than 70 courses available. Beginning Jan. 22, eligible students will be able to take courses taught by UMaine faculty on the UMaine campus, at the UMaine Hutchinson Center in Belfast or online, according to the article.
