Tajvidi receives TAPPI Nanotechnology Mid-Career Award

Mehdi Tajvidi, an assistant professor of renewable nanomaterials in the School of Forest Resources, received the TAPPI Nanotechnology Mid-Career Award at the 2018 TAPPI International Conference for Nanotechnology of Renewable Materials in Madison, Wisconsin June 13.

The award is intended to recognize an individual  who has made outstanding contributions to advance nanotechnology of renewable material with less than 20 years past the date of their most recent degree work.

TAPPI is an international organization the provides a forum for engineers, scientists and other professionals involved in the pulp, paper and certain types of packaging industry.
