Carter writes BDN op-ed on ‘precarious economies’

Valerie Carter, a research associate at the University of Maine’s Bureau of Labor Education, wrote the Bangor Daily News opinion piece, “Struggling to survive: The reality of living in a precarious economy.” Carter is a member of the Maine chapter of the national Scholars Strategy Network, which brings together scholars across the country to address public challenges and their policy implications.
