‘Truth, Healing and Change in the Land of Dawn’ presentation slated Sept. 28
Barbara Kates will make a free presentation titled “Truth, Healing and Change in the Land of Dawn” 4–6 p.m. Sept. 28 in Lord Hall, Room 202.
Kates is a Maine community organizer with Maine-Wabanaki REACH, a cross-cultural collaborative supporting Wabanaki self-determination.
Her presentation will focus on the collective history and relationship of Maine and Wabanaki people through an understanding of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC).
