Sorg mentioned in Press Herald article on revised Maine overdose death report

The Portland Press Herald reported Maine Attorney General Janet Mills released a revised report on drug overdose deaths for 2016 and said the record-breaking numbers further highlight a need for more treatment as well as prevention and education efforts. The report was prepared by Marcella Sorg, an anthropologist and research professor with the Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center at the University of Maine, according to the article. The total number of Mainers who died from drug overdoses in 2016 was 376, which represents a nearly 40 percent increase over 2015, the article states.
