Camp named MDI Biological Laboratory artist-in-residence

Susan Camp, a printmaker, sculptor and adjunct assistant professor of art at the University of Maine, has been named one of the MDI Biological Laboratory’s four 2017 Maine artists-in-residence.

The artists’ work will be the subject of the laboratory’s sixth annual Art Meets Science exhibit, which will be on display at the new Center for Science Entrepreneurship in July 2017, according to an MDI Biological Laboratory news release.

The artists were selected for their interest in the intersections between art and science, the release states.
