UMaine police chief speaks with WLBZ about reports of parts stolen from cars

University of Maine police are investigating the theft of catalytic converters from at least nine cars parked in campus lots last weekend, reported WLBZ (Channel 2) and the Associated Press. “What these individuals do, they go underneath the car and saw these things off and then go,” Roland LaCroix, UMaine chief of police, told the TV station. The Portland Press Herald carried the AP report.
