Leeds Students Selected for Engineering Expo at UMaine
The Lewiston Sun Journal reported today that a Leeds Central School class has been selected to attend the Maine Engineering Expo at the University of Maine in March, after a “Dig into Science” contest organized by the S.W. Cole Engineering firm in Bangor. The fourth- and fifth-grade students prepared a YouTube video in which they act the parts of reporters and scientists discussing how science has affected their lives. The Expo is designed to introduce Maine youngsters to science and technology at an early age.
