A Bangor Daily News article about a mysterious pigeon graffiti artist in Bangor included comments from Kat Johnson, a UMaine Intermedia MFA student. Johnson said she appreciates the graffiti – which is made from a paste of flour and water and is therefore temporary – takes an icon of an urban environment and elevates it to become a symbol of culture.
