WABI Notes UMaine Collaboration with Local Police
Bangor television station WABI interviewed UMaine spokesman Joe Carr about an alert Tuesday morning to inform the community about an assault suspect who was thought to be headed to UMaine’s Orono campus. Carr told WABI that UMaine’s collaborations with the Orono and Old Town police departments are important because of the shared borders between campus and the municipalities.
