The Bangor Daily News covered Wednesday’s celebration of Rudy Vallee Day, which honored the legendary actor and singer who popularized UMaine’s fight song, The Maine Stein Song. The coverage included a video of a group of UMaine students, including members of the All Maine Women, Senior Skulls, Sophomore Eagles and Sophomore Owls, who sang the song Wednesday afternoon in front of Fogler Library. The students also handed out cards with Stein Song lyrics and chalked the lyrics on the sidewalks in the University Mall.
