Report on Rudy Vallee Day
The Portland Press Herald carried a report on plans for Rudy Vallee Day, the Westbrook native and legendary singer and actor who popularized UMaine’s fight song, “The Stein Song.” Students plan to gather at 3 p.m. Wednesday on the steps of Fogler Library to sing the song in honor of Vallee, who spend one semester at UMaine.
