BDN Story on Fraternity House

The Bangor Daily News reported the UMaine Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity house was deemed unfit for habitation, which has forced the relocation of 22 residents. The Orono Fire Department and town code enforcement officer made the decision to close the house. Robert Dana, vice president for student affairs and dean of students, told the newspaper the university fully supported the students who deserve safe living accommodations. The house is owned by a housing corporation run by local fraternity alumni.
