Tuning Fork Noted on Website

The website Maine Insights carried a release from UMaine about work done at UMaine’s Advanced Manufacturing Center on an electronic tuning fork. AMC students and staff worked with a local podiatrist to develop the tuning fork, which is commonly used by physicians to diagnose early signs of diabetic peripheral neuropathy, or damaged or deteriorating nerves in the feet of diabetics.
