Coverage of Juliet Kellogg Markowsky Death
Several local media outlets carried the news of the death of Juliet “Judy” Kellogg Markowsky, a local naturalist and faculty associate in UMaine’s department of wildlife ecology. Bangor television station WLBZ noted Markowsky ran nature exploration programs from an office at UMaine. The Bangor Daily News mentioned in its story that Markowsky was been presented in 2009 with a Maryann Hartman Award, which is sponsored by UMaine’s Women in the Curriculum and Women’s Studies Program.
